Music has always been such a big part of my life. You can ask baby me who was always surrounded by all sorts of music before streaing took over. The baby who went to Green Day before she even knew the concept of ear plugs. Even now, I listen to music to unwind or to feel the feelings I couldn't comprehend. It's like my version of a good book that exercises your mind. Something fun I like to do is collect CD's by going in stores and flipping through someone's unwanted stuff to find gold. Whenever I find a CD you can't listen to online, it feels ike I can preserve it's medium maybe the way it was intended.
The last concert i've been to, not including anything given by KTSW, was Panchiko in San Antonio at the Paper Tiger. Panchiko was founded by a 4Chan user while in the thrift store, they couldn't find any band under that time on the internet, so they decided to purcahse it on a whim before asking 4Chan the mystery behind the band. Later on they would form again and now are touring together, which is who I got to see. It was the first time, in a new town and by myself, that I would see a concert. I even got a battle scar from some guy jumping on my toe and breaking my nail. It was an awesome time and I even got to see the entire band sign my CD and take photos with.
This is a huge step from the last, but I plan on going to Sick New World in Fort Worth, Texas later this year. In October they gather tons of big rock artists for a day festival. They have really famous bands such as System of a Down, Slayer, Deftones, and Evanescence headlining. I am looking forward to it, I like a majority of the bands and it's been my dream to see 'She Wants Revenge'live. The festival will be the week before Halloween, so it's not too far away, but it will be a long drive. Wish me luck!
