I love to visit new places. I just really don't like hiking, but I like to be outside on a park bench poeple-watching. That's more enjoyable to me rather than going up a hill, but maybe it also has something to do with my fear of heights. Recently, I've visted New York City, the Big Apple, with my family. This is one of the few times I've actually gone out of state to fellow U.S territory. I loved it, it is way different than McAllen, my hometown, and overall Texas.
I only went for a week and since I was little, it's been my dream to visit the city that never sleeps. During the time I visted I got to see tons of New York staples. Such as the Rockefeller center, St.Patrick's cathedral, Moma, Chinatown, Central Park, Empire State, and the American Museum. I had such a good time and the transportation was so easy that you don't even need a car.
I could go on about New York for way too long, I think it's any small town girl's dream to live in the big city. Later on this year I'm planning to go back for Christmas if the world allows me to. Nothing compares to New York City, even the bagels were super tasty. All the small towns like Chinatown, Little Italy, Koreatown, and Little Tokyo, really makes the New York space feel all inclusive. I already miss it, and I can't wait to go back.
